The house is currently closed to facilitate the renovation work on the South Front. Following this essential cleaning and conservation work will be undertaken following the South Front project. Once this is complete work on the set up for Christmas will be done and the house will be re-opened for Christmas from the 26 November to the 2 January.
This year's Christmas theme is 'Wind in the Willows' and the house will be open from Wednesday - Sunday but you will need to book your visit --www.nationaltrust.org.uk/hinton-ampner
Just a quick reminder that we do not allow large rucksacks to be taken around the house. We recently had a near miss with the items on the radiator cover in the Study! We ask for large rucksacks to be worn on the front or carried. Alternatively, they can be left at the Hall desk, but we must ask people to remove any valuables as we cannot lock the bags away.
