Description:

Semi-evergreen bushy, open shrub, 2.5m (8ft) high by 2.5m (8ft) wide, with rounded heads of fragrant, tubular, white flowers, slightly pink in bud, in early spring borne amid oval, glossy, dark green leaves. Red fruit persists throughout the winter. This plant is a cross between Viburnum carlesii and Viburnum utile both plants being native to Asia.

Site and Care:

Does best in full sun or partial shade and fertile, well drained soil of any type. Pruning is only necessary to maintain shape and should be carried out after flowering. Propagation is by softwood/semi-ripe cuttings in summer.
