Description:
A hardy evergreen shrub, growning to 2m, for winter interest with dense dark green foliage and flowers which appear over a long period from December to April. The pink flower buds open to tiny, star-shaped white flowers followed by small dark blue-black fruits. It can also be grown as an informal hedge and is shade-tolerant.
Site and Care:
Will grow in any type of soil well drained soil in full sun, partial shade and even complete shade. Prune for shape in spring. Propagation is by cuttings in summer.
