Description:

Attractive ornamental, hardy, low growing species of clover. Huge silvery buds open to bright purple red elongated clover clusters in profusion. A magnet for bees and butterflies. Prostrate spreading ground cover plants that provides green fertiliser by adding nitrogen to the soil.

Site and Care:

Grow in full sun in fertile soil of any type, although average alkaline soil are preferred, with adequate level of fertility and consistent moisture. Likes plenty of water but not extremes in temperature. Propagate by seed which will self sow. Can be cut back to maintain shape and freshen foliage.
