Rose 'A Whiter Shade of Pale'
The Terrace and Lily Pond Garden.
A Hybrid Tea Rose with extremely fragrant, white, with a hint of pink, medium sized flowers carried in clusters of several together on a vigorous growing bush. An easy to grow, disease resistant, rose that withstands all weathers and which flowers from late spring until autumn.
Site and Care:
Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil that does not dry out, in full sun or partial shade. Lightly prune after flowering in late Autumn to prevent wind damage but the main pruning should be done in late winter when Hybrid Teas can be pruned to an outward facing bud about 30 cms (1') above ground. They will benefit from a mulch at this time. Regularly dead head.
