Description:

A semi-evergreen, bushy, dense shrub with oval, dark green leaves. Lonicera x purpusii is a cross between two Chinese honeysuckles L. fragrantissima and L. standishii, native to China. Small clusters of fragrant, short-tubed, white flowers, with spreading petal lobes in late winter. H: 2m S: 2m (7ft x 7ft).

Site and Care:

Will grow in any type of soil in full sun or partial shade. Prune in late spring after flowering back to the base of the of the plant to encourage shoots to grow from the base. Propagation is by half-ripe side shoot cuttings in summer or hardwood cuttings in Winter.
