Description:
A deciduous, hardy, upright shrub with a height and spreadof 3 metres (10 feet) with large oval dark green leaves. Large, conical panicles of, mostly sterile, white flowers that trurn pink or red from late summer.
Site and Care:
Prefers semi-shade and fertile, moist but well-drained soil, of any type. Requires more shade in dry conditions. One of the few Hyrdrangeas that should be pruned back hard in spring to a basic woody structure. Provide a good layer of mulch after pruning.
