Description:

A hardy evergreen shrub, to 75cm, with oblong, blue-grey leaves which are margined with red, especially in winter. Flowers pale mauve fading to white.

Site and Care:

Grow in a moist but well-drained soil, of any type, in sun or partial shade. It will benefit from a mulch over winter and can be pruned for shape after flowering. Hebes do not always survive hard pruning. Propagate by semi-hardwood cuttings in late summer.
