On the outside south wall of the walled garden.
Description:
A deciduous, arching, gracefull hardy shrub with slender shoots. Nodding, narrow trumpet-shaped, bright yellow flowers open from late winter to early spring before mid green leaves appear. H: 3m S: 3m (10ft x 10ft). Native to Asia.
Site and Care:
Will grow in any type of soil in full sun or partial shade. It requires only pruning for shape. Propagation is by half-ripe side shoot cuttings in summer, hardwood cuttings in Winter or seed. Cuttings root easily.
