Description:

A clump-forming rhizomatous perennial, to 1m, with simple or pinnately lobed leaves and solitary, long-stalked daisies with drooping light purple ray florets and brown central disk; attractive to butterflies.

Description:

Grow in any type of well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Dead head and mulch in winter. Propagate by division in spring or autumn, although they resent a lot of disturbance or by root cuttings from late autumn to early winter or seed.
