Description:

Possibly the earliest flowering golden crocus with a delightful honey scent attractive to both human and early insects. Given a sunny position it will flower profusely but it can be grown in semi-shade. The bright, golden yellow blooms of appear in winter to early spring.

Site and Care:

In autumn, plant bulbs 8-10cm (3-4in) deep in poor, gritty, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
