Description:

A medium sized evergreen shrub, to 1.5m, native to Southern Europe and North Africa with 5-petalled, bowl-shaped, white flowers with a central boss of golden yellow stamens,over a long period in late spring and summer. The narrow gray green leaves are lightly hairy.

Site and Care:

Grow in poor, well-drained soil, of any type in sheletered conditions. Propagate by seed or softwood cuttings. Prune after flowering to maintain shape removing old and dead wood.
