Description:

A hardy, compact, deciduous, with conical spikes of bright red slightly scented flowers from August supported and softened by dark grey-green foliage. A cross between B.’Summer Beauty’ and B. ‘Royal Red’ it is very close to a true red. It is supposed to stay small but it can grow to 2m.

Site and Care:

A trouble-free, adaptable shrub for sunny, warm positions sulking in shade it prefers well-drained soil. Deadhead to extend the flowering season. Propagate by semi-hardwood cuttings in September.
