Description:

A hardy, deciduous, with conical spikes of bright purple scented flowers from August supported and softened by dark grey-green slightly serrated foliage. A cross between B.lindleyana and B.crispa it is supposed to stay small but it can grow to 2m.

Site and Care:

A trouble-free, adaptable shrub for sunny, warm positions sulking in shade it prefers well-drained soil. Deadhead to extend the flowering season.  Propagate by semi-hardwood cuttings in September.
