Description:

A hardy, deciduous, unusualy large spreading shrub up to 2m with pale blue flowers and light grey leaves. Fast growing with arching stems of green leaves the nectar-rich flowers are irresistible to butterflies. A cross between B. davidii and B. fallowiana

Site and Care:

A trouble-free, adaptable shrub for sunny, warm positions. They sulk in shade and prefer well-drained soil. Deadhead to extend the flowering season. Cut the shoots back hard to within 12in at the end of March or slightly later. Hard pruning is beneficial to the plant.Propagate by semi-hardwood cuttings in September.
