Aster cordifolius 'Little Carlow'
The Terrace Border
A hardy, bushy, herbaceous perennial with abundant violet-blue, yellow-centred, daisies 2cm across with narrow leaves and clusters of daisy-like flowers, in late summer and autumn. Teamed here with Stipa tenuissima it makes a good Autumn display.
Site and Care:
Grow in a moderately fertile, moist soil, of any type, in partial shade but it will tolerate well-drained soil in full sun. Cut back in late autumn when it will benefit from mulching. Propagate by division in spring.
