Acer negundo 'Variegatum'
The Church Border
A vigorous, upright to columnar, deciduous tree, up to 10m, bearing pinnate, light green leaves with pink margins that turn white in summer and clusters of yellow-green flowers in spring. The entire leaf turns yellow in autumn.
Site and Care:
Plant in full sun or slightly shaded sites and humus-rich, well drained soils, neutral or slightly acid soils for a better autumn colour.
Propagate with seeds which is difficult and only after cold stratification, while the cultivars are propagated by grafting on the typical species.
