Description:

A medium-sized deciduous shrub, native to China, with pinnate leaves composed of 7-11 small, oval leaflets. Flowers light pink,pea-like flowers in summer 6mm in length, in dense erect racemes to 10cm in length

Site and Care:

Grow in full sun and well-drained soil of any type. Propagate by seed sown in containers in a cold frame in autumn or root softwood cuttings in late spring, semi-hardwood in early to mid-summer. Prune out dead wood in Spring. Does not like to be hard pruned.
