Description:

A large, to 1.8m, hardy perennial. native to the Himalayas with luxurious exotic foliage and large, sweet scented, yellow flower heads in summer and early autumn. Each inflorescence holds up to 50 exquisite little flowers. An evergreen in milder climes but here it is cut back by frost. In some parts of the world with a favourable climate it can be considered a terrible weed!

Site and Care:

Grow in part shade in moist, well-drained, humus rich soil of any type. Cut back to the ground in winter and it will benefit from a generous mulch at that time. Propagate by splitting rhizomes in late winter
