Description:

A hardy leafless, small tree of weeping habit, native to New Zealand, where it is endangered, which grows to about 5m, with pendulous branches and pale, rose-lilac flowers formed in racemes, carried either singly or in groups of two to five followed by small pods containing up to three seeds..

Site and Care:

Grow in any well drained soil in full sun. It is very slow growing and may take many years before flowering but it is well worth the wait. It can be propagated from cuttings or fresh seeds.
